The Windsor Community Bank® Branch project started back in the year 2000.
When the last of the major banks had left the Windsor shopping strip, a number of traders and residents got together to form a Steering Committee to investigate the Community Bank® opportunity developed by Bendigo Bank. On the 22nd November 2002, the Windsor Community Bank was officially opened!
After the success of the Windsor Community Bank branch, and the growing demand for community banking in the area, a new branch was opened in the Prahran Market. The Prahran Market is a hub of activity in the Stonnington area and is the perfect place for local engagement and accessible banking.
